Privacy Policy

Ident-A-Kid Services of America (ISA) believes that addressing your concerns about privacy is critical. ISA uses its best efforts to protect the personal information given to us by customers of our service or visitors to Identakid.com, so that the information you submit to ISA or their representatives is used only in ways to which you have consented. A more detailed explanation about how we treat your personal information is described below.

Child IDs

ISA representatives collect personal information (photo, fingerprint, physical description, name, and address) from children (and their parents’ or guardian’s name, and address) for the purpose of producing physical child identification cards for their parents or guardian. This personal information is only collected from children with signed consent of the parent or guardian. This information is not sold, rented or shared in any way and is deleted from the representative’s database within 60 days of finished ID cards being returned to the parent or guardian.

In addition, parent/guardian email addresses and mobile phone numbers are collected on an optional basis to transmit a digital Child ID. These IDs are referred to as eKid-IDs and they only include the child’s name, DOB, hair color, eye color, height, weight, and issue date. No parent/guardian information are included on an eKid-ID. ISA does retain parent/guardian email addresses to occasionally contact parents about child safety related information (with the option to opt out). Parent/Guardian email addresses or phone numbers are not sold, rented, or shared in any way.

Digital Child ID

The ISA Digital Child ID is intended for parents or guardians of children to have on their mobile device to use for identification purposes should their child become missing or for identification purposes.

During account creation, parent / guardian email and phone number are collected. ISA does retain parent/guardian email addresses and phone numbers to occasionally contact parents about child safety related information (with the option to opt out). Parent/Guardian email addresses and phone numbers are not sold, rented, or shared in any way.

When a parent or guardian fills out the online form for their child they elect to populate the Digital ID with their child or children’s pertinent data as displayed. This child data is encrypted and stored digitally in a secured environment. This child information is not used, sold, rented or shared in any way.

Furthermore, parents or guardians with the ISA Digital Child ID have the option of sharing their child’s digital ID with whomever they choose.  Parents and Guardians need to be aware that once they share their child’s digital ID it is then in the public domain.

Adult Badges

ISA representatives collect general information (photo and name) from schools and educational centers personnel for the purpose of producing staff ID badges. This information is only collected with consent of the school or educational center. This information is not sold, rented or shared in any way and is deleted from the representative’s database within 60 days of finished ID badges being returned to the school or education center.
