Owensboro, KY – To start the new year, Owensboro Public Schools were pleased to roll out Ident-A-Kid’s school visitor management system. The system not only streamlines guest access; it also runs a nationwide background check to stop sex offenders from entering the school and custody background checks to inform school officials on custody arrangements with the parents and/or guardians of the students. Upon using the safe school grant to cover the cost, OPS Public Information Officer Jared Revlett says, “It was well worth the investment.”
