Ident-A-Kid representatives collect personal information (photo, fingerprint, physical description, name, and address) from children (via their parents or guardian name) for the purpose of producing child identification cards for their parents or guardians. Personal information is only collected from children with signed consent of the parent or guardian. This information is not sold, rented or shared in any way and is deleted from the representative’s database within 60 days of finished ID cards being returned to the parent or guardian. Ident-A-Kid representatives collect general information (photo and name) from schools and educational centers' personnel for the purpose of producing staff ID badges. This information is only collected with consent of the school or educational center. This information is not sold, rented or shared in any way and is deleted from the representative’s database within 60 days of finished ID badges being returned to the school or educational center. Ident-A-Kid gathers only what information is necessary for completion of the eKid-ID messaging service. Information is used solely for transmitting picture messages, and will not be sold or shared with any 3rd parties. In addition, Ident-A-Kid may gather statistical information such as, but not limited to, the number of messages sent, and popularity of cell phone providers. This information is used to help better understand how users use the eKid-ID. While we may track eKid-ID usage, we in no way relate this usage to any users in particular. Cell phone numbers are not in any way related to any site statistics, or usage, and are solely used for sending users SMS/MMS text/picture messages. We will NOT send unsolicited text/picture messages or place phone calls to any acquired cell phone numbers. At no time will cell phone numbers be sold, traded, exchanged, or given to any other 3rd party. Cell phone numbers are deleted after 60 days after the eKid-ID has been sent.

Ident-A-Kid is the owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Ident-A-Kid collects information from our users at several different points on our website as well as from Program Directors working directly with schools and educational centers around the country. We reserve the right to access and disclose individually identifiable information to comply with applicable laws and lawful government requests, to operate its systems properly or to protect itself or its users. We reserve the right to share aggregated "website statistical usage" information with third parties for the purpose of increased efficiency and personalization of Identakid.com.
Sharing
We occasionally share aggregated demographic information with our affiliates, partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person or institution. In certain areas, we partner with other companies to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services.
